Within a circle, a mounted warrior to right, holding a mace in his right hand; stars to left and right; floral motif below; citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225) in the margin, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh Muḥammad rasūl Allāh ṣalla Allāh ʿalayh al-Nāṣir li-dīn Allāh amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. May Allah bless him. al-Nasir li-din Allah, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic).

In the margin, ‘arsalahū bi al-hudā wa dīn al-ḥaqq liyuẓhirahū ʿalā al-dīn kullih ḍuriba bi Qūniya sana sitt tisʿīn’, continued in the central circle, ‘wa khamsa miʾa / al-sulṭān al-qāhir / Abu’l-Fatḥ Sulaymān ibn / Qilij Arslān nāṣir / amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘He [i.e., Allah] sent him [i.e., Muhammad] with guidance and the religion of truth, so that He may make it overcome all religions.
